Have you ever seen the morning
when it is fresh and new
prompting your eyes to view colors
of rich and various hues

that change ever so swiftly now
upon clouds bathed in sun
turning the skies into glory
like time had just begun

to experience life as a gift
full of potential bliss
God has given man certain days
not any should we miss

by being ungrateful or morbid
complaining of the day
when there is so much to live for
when God can have His way
____
for any day spent above ground
is good and should be blessed
rejoicing in the God above
that we can have His rest

by trusting in His providence
that all is well with soul
for what we think that we might lack
His presence makes us whole

and when the day shall end complete
with richness in its past
one knows that one has walked with God
in fullness that will last
